Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct site walk-downs and evaluate RFQ opportunities as assigned.

• Play a crucial role in the proposal development process by creating the scope of work and necessary proposal content for resource planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring the project's safety, quality, and profitability.

• Oversee and manage the exchange of submittal information and approvals both within the company and with clients and/or subcontractors throughout all phases of each project.

• Coordinate project activities with clients/owners, subcontractors, and company personnel.

• Manage and document all scope of work activities, schedules, budgets, change orders, and technical specifications, ensuring adherence to the company's quality system, policies, and procedures while fulfilling the company's contractual commitments.

• Oversee the project close-out process for assigned projects, which includes project close-out, reconciliation activities, lessons learned, and final reports.

• Collaborate with other functional teams throughout the project lifecycle to 1) ensure that scope, cost, and schedule are clearly defined during project development for measurable milestones; 2) establish realistic baselines; 3) identify and manage risks; and 4) analyze, monitor, and report project performance against the plan.

• Travel and manage projects on-site as necessary.

• Supervise and lead project management administrative staff, ensuring alignment with the objectives of Electrical Builders Ind., which includes communication, training, making recommendations, coaching, providing timely performance feedback, corrective actions, and employee development.

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other company personnel.

• Support process improvement initiatives, including ISO 9001, by suggesting methods, equipment, techniques, and changes to enhance company operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred (or equivalent).

• 5-7 years of experience in power generation services or the industrial electrical sector.

• 3-5 years of experience as an onsite construction project manager with responsibility for project P&L.

• This position requires OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it before the start date.

• Willingness to undergo a post-offer, pre-employment background check, pre-placement exam, Non-DOT physical, and drug test.

• Strong financial acumen.

• Preferred knowledge of medium voltage electrical bus duct systems and transformer components.

• Experience in successfully managing union personnel.

• Ability to obtain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.

• Proven experience with relevant project estimating and project management software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint/server file management.

• Expertise in reading blueprints.

• Outstanding math, organizational, analytical, writing, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
