Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee cross-functional projects focused on operational enhancements, process improvements, vendor integrations, technology-driven initiatives, and organizational change management.

• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, communication strategies, and governance frameworks.

• Organize project kickoff meetings, stakeholder alignment discussions, and ongoing governance activities.

• Perform business analysis tasks, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, and assessing workflows.

• Foster collaborative relationships with legal, administrative, operational, and technical teams.

• Lead project meetings, status check-ins, and executive briefings.

• Ensure transparency concerning project progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies.

• Track project timelines, budgets, scope, deliverables, and resource distribution.

• Coordinate project activities among various stakeholders and departments.

• Oversee project documentation, reporting, issue resolution, and change management processes.

• Assist with operational readiness and transition planning upon project completion.

• Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to facilitate project execution and meet delivery milestones.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of focused project management experience within a PMO or VMO in a professional services environment is required.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional operational or business initiatives is necessary.

• PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.

• Experience within a law firm is strongly preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, and project management software is required.

• Experience managing projects across distributed teams and multiple time zones is preferred.

• Familiarity with project governance, stakeholder management, and process improvement methodologies is strongly preferred.

• Change Management certification is a plus.
