Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Oversee feature delivery by collaborating with developers, collecting stakeholder requirements, assisting the Product Owner with release coordination, prototyping features, maintaining clear delivery plans, tracking dependencies and risks, and ensuring timely delivery of features according to established priorities.

• Acquire extensive product knowledge necessary to independently manage feature planning and delivery.

• Take full ownership of assigned product initiatives, making daily decisions autonomously while escalating issues only when required.

• Develop and document a thorough understanding of departmental needs and interdepartmental dependencies.

• Independently manage assigned projects from requirement gathering to release, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Cultivate effective working relationships with key departments and proactively address cross-functional dependencies and delivery risks.

• Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, developers, QA specialists, Product team members, and representatives from other departments.

• Gather, clarify, document, and prioritize business and product requirements.

• Convert stakeholder needs into clear tasks, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans for the development team.

• Monitor progress, timelines, dependencies, risks, and obstacles throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Facilitate planning sessions, status meetings, requirement reviews, and release-readiness discussions.

• Coordinate feature testing, stakeholder validation, and issue resolution with QA and development teams.

• Assist the Product Owner in planning and coordinating releases.

• Create prototypes or mock-ups to clarify requirements and validate feature concepts.

• Maintain project documentation and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct feature demonstrations for stakeholders, gather feedback, and document agreed follow-up actions.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of requirements gathering, documentation, feature prototyping, analysis, and project coordination.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the capability to independently drive initiatives from requirements to release.

• Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to address daily delivery challenges and appropriately escalate significant risks.

• Practical experience with UI/UX and a firm grasp of essential user-experience and interface-design principles.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills across Product, Development, QA, and other departments.

• Strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines concurrently.

• Proficient in gathering, clarifying, and translating business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery tasks.

• Comprehensive understanding of frontend and backend systems, including their dependencies, integrations, connections, and end-to-end data flows.

• Ability to evaluate how changes to one system component may impact other features, services, or departments.

• Practical knowledge of the software development and release lifecycle, encompassing planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release review.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to decompose complex requirements into manageable tasks and identify risks or dependencies.

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for planning sessions, stakeholder discussions, feature demonstrations, and feedback collection.

• Ability to create prototypes or mock-ups to clarify requirements and validate feature concepts.

• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities when balancing stakeholder expectations, technical constraints, and delivery priorities.

• Adaptability and composure in response to changes in requirements, priorities, or timelines.

• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing requirements, tracking delivery progress, and coordinating releases.

• Proficient in using AI tools to support requirements analysis, documentation, prototyping, research, task preparation, and stakeholder communication.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs, verify their accuracy, and apply them responsibly within product-development and delivery processes.

• Likely current role: Project Manager or Business Analyst in financial services, cryptocurrency, Forex, or trading technology firms.
