đź“‹ Description

• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans for new product launches and major product enhancements, specifying key activities, milestones, timelines, and resource needs.

• Facilitate project meetings, document and distribute meeting notes and action items, and monitor the completion of deliverables to guarantee quality and integrity across all workstreams.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Technology—to ensure seamless implementation and successful commercial launches.

• Manage inter-team dependencies, anticipate potential bottlenecks, and escalate any blockers before they escalate into schedule risks.

• Take charge of release coordination: establish readiness criteria, conduct go/no-go checkpoints, and document post-launch issues and insights.

• Lead significant process improvement initiatives from inception to implementation, ensuring that business objectives are clearly articulated and measurable.

• Identify process deficiencies, suggest lightweight and scalable solutions, and foster adoption across relevant teams.

• Provide input on optimizing resource utilization; coordinate and negotiate staffing or capacity adjustments with functional managers as necessary.

• Mentor project team members to facilitate the achievement of project goals; offer timely feedback and ensure accountability for deliverables.

• Maintain project information repositories to ensure the quality and integrity of all project documentation and data.

• Oversee project tracking for software development workstreams supporting Becker's ecommerce systems (Drupal and Salesforce): uphold Jira hygiene, highlight blockers, and manage dependencies comprehensively.

• Translate technical scope and engineering status into clear updates for stakeholders—avoiding jargon and vague statuses.

• Lead prioritization discussions with product and engineering leads based on data and business impact, rather than intuition.

• Have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle to identify risks early, ask pertinent questions, and facilitate engineering teams.

• Utilize AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to create status summaries, risk logs, and meeting follow-ups—enhancing efficiency and minimizing manual overhead.

• Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all organizational levels with executive presence and confidence.

• Identify and tackle project challenges, demonstrating impartiality and sound judgment while navigating competing priorities.

• Make effective, business-oriented decisions when faced with multiple options for project progression.

• Exhibit strong executive presence, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.

• Apply established project management methodologies (PMBOK or equivalent) to ensure consistency and rigor while remaining flexible and adaptable to evolving project needs, changing circumstances, and team dynamics across all projects.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is mandatory.

• 5+ years of comprehensive project management experience, demonstrating the application of PMBOK or equivalent project management methodologies.

• Proven capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft concise status updates and clear risk flags for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of identifying root causes and assessing alternative solutions.

• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to be agile and adaptable to changing project requirements and deliverables.

• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to make sound, impartial decisions with minimal oversight.

• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with all organizational levels.

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.

• Experience in managing software development projects, including familiarity with the SDLC, agile delivery methods (Scrum or Kanban), APIs and integrations, and release management.

• Proficient in Jira—not just in creating tickets, but also in configuring workflows, reporting, and tracking dependencies.

• Experience in edtech, SaaS, professional certification, or academic enterprise environments; a background in accounting education is a significant advantage.

• Active user of AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in daily project management tasks.

• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce), or CMS platforms (Drupal) is a plus.
