Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Oversee project backlogs, user stories, and sprint tracking using Jira.

• Serve as the main point of contact for client stakeholders, delivering project updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

• Supervise the delivery of ETL pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.

• Propel automation initiatives and enhance operational efficiency throughout data operations.

• Ensure proper project governance, documentation, and alignment with business goals.

• Facilitate technical conversations between engineering teams and client stakeholders.

• Manage project risks, dependencies, escalations, and issue resolution processes.

• Track project financials, resource allocation, onboarding, and knowledge transfer activities.

• Guarantee on-time project delivery while upholding quality standards and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a Technical Project Manager or Delivery Manager role.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Data Engineering, ETL, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse initiatives.

• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and full project delivery.

• Practical experience with Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and project tracking.

• Experience leading distributed and cross-functional technical teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client interaction skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of project governance, delivery metrics, and risk management.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Glue.

• In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, data ingestion frameworks, data lakes, and data warehousing.
