This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Oversee the planning, setup, monitoring, and closure of studies to guarantee successful project execution.
• Collect customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to transform needs into effective project execution strategies.
• Create and maintain study documentation, reports, and operational deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the distribution and tracking of study equipment and materials.
• Archive study data and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships while setting and managing expectations during project execution.
• Track study timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage the financial aspects of projects, including budget assessments, revenue projections, scope modifications, and invoice reconciliation.
• Identify project risks, devise mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to leadership and stakeholders as necessary.
• Facilitate internal and external discussions to promote collaboration, effective communication, and timely project execution.
• Utilize structured problem-solving methods to address customer issues and ensure prompt resolution of escalations.
• Act as the project management focal point for operational readiness activities related to new product initiatives.
• Present study services and operational workflows during client meetings, investigator meetings, and site initiation meetings as needed.
• Assist in business development initiatives and contribute to generating new revenue opportunities.
• Mentor and support the onboarding and training of new members of the Project Management team.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical project management experience in the clinical research, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in support of clinical trials, pharmaceutical development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and achieving results within set timelines and budgets.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process and the clinical research landscape.
• Experience managing projects across various service lines or deep knowledge in a specific service area.
• Strong financial management capabilities, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and scope oversight.
• Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional fluency in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Detail-oriented with a proven track record of responsiveness and accountability.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
