This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the implementation/migration projects for government clients at the city, county, and state levels.
• Develop comprehensive project plans along with supporting documentation, such as project schedules, risk/issues logs, status reports, meeting agendas, and statements of work.
• Organize and facilitate customer meetings and events as necessary, including discovery sessions, collaborative working sessions, user testing, regular status updates, and executive steering committee meetings.
• Track internal resources to ensure effective capacity and budget usage.
• Provide accurate forecasts for project revenues and costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to comprehend business and technical requirements.
• Manage quality assurance (QA) testing to confirm that the software operates correctly in the client’s environment.
• Conduct basic diagnostics and troubleshooting for payment software applications.
• Support in training end users on the software to guarantee their proficiency in its use.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during the go-live phase.
• Proactively identify project risks and issues; evaluate and relay necessary actions to mitigate impacts on project health, schedule, and scope.
• Work with clients and developers to assist in configuring, installing, testing, and monitoring software programs and systems to resolve client issues.
• Maintain effective and professional communication with clients, including those at the executive level.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Handle multiple implementations while ensuring timely deliverables.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in project management with a track record of delivering successful results for project stakeholders.
• Capability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical clients.
• Strong technical skills with a passion for troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Proficiency in Excel pivot tables, SharePoint, and related technologies.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong skills in risk/issue assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities.
• Comfortable in gathering information from business users.
• Preferred: Experience within the state/county court system.
• Preferred: Familiarity with court case management systems.
• Preferred: PMP Certification.
• Preferred: Experience with Jira.
• Preferred: Experience using Smartsheet.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of Windows development techniques and Microsoft development tools/environments.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of SQL Server.
