This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +11 more states.
• Take ownership of the entire implementation lifecycle, from project kickoff to go-live and the transition to Customer Success.
• Collaborate with customers and BuildOps leadership to define the project scope, milestones, success criteria, and governance.
• Manage project timelines and dependencies using Salesforce.
• Handle scope modifications through formal change control processes and proactively communicate updates.
• Act as the main contact for customer executives and project sponsors throughout the implementation phase.
• Organize regular project meetings; distribute agendas, minutes, and action items within 24 hours.
• Issue weekly status reports externally and submit semi-weekly early-risk surveys internally.
• Create gate check documentation at critical milestones to document decisions and obtain approvals.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies in Salesforce before they become obstacles.
• Maintain a risk log with assigned owners and follow-up paths; review this log with leadership on a regular basis.
• Conduct post-project reviews and apply insights gained to future projects.
• Coordinate efforts across Sales (ensuring handoff clarity), Implementation Managers (aligning execution), Data Analysts (tracking import milestones), Solutions Architects (managing configuration dependencies), Product/Engineering (escalating blockers), and Customer Success (facilitating go-live transitions).
• Provide comprehensive handoff documentation to Customer Success or Support at the conclusion of the project.
• Identify deficiencies in implementation playbooks and suggest enhancements with supporting justification.
• Contribute to the development of internal templates and retrospectives.
• Over 5 years of project management experience in delivering enterprise SaaS implementations across multi-stakeholder and multi-workstream projects.
• Proven ability to manage 4-12 active concurrent projects without compromising attention to detail.
• Experience in managing executive-level customer relationships, particularly at the VP or C-level.
• Proficient in Salesforce or a similar CRM; formal project management methodology background (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills: your status updates, risk logs, and gate check documentation should be concise and actionable.
• Proactive in escalating issues; you raise concerns while there is still time to address them.
• Experience in construction, field service, or B2B vertical SaaS is preferred.
