Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority across various geographic regions to achieve project objectives.

• Work alongside technical teams to establish milestones, fulfill launch deadlines, and pinpoint issues and risks in project planning.

• Discover and assess cost-optimization opportunities related to materials, components, and processes, including insourcing, alternative sourcing, and value engineering.

• Create and uphold project timelines while driving execution to meet milestones.

• Assist in change-control processes, validation tasks, and planning for implementations.

• Collaborate with Procurement, R&D, Quality, Operations, and Suppliers to validate and execute cost-optimization strategies while ensuring product performance, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity.

• Recognize and communicate risks and conflicts, formulate mitigation plans, and spearhead proactive risk-response strategies.

• Conduct financial analysis that includes market research, cash-flow analysis, capital planning, and project-cost assessment.

• Provide support to manufacturing sites across the EMEA and APAC regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Plastics, Chemicals, Packaging, Manufacturing, or a related engineering area.

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within a matrix organization.

• Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and communication with executive stakeholders.

• Experience leading cross-functional projects from start to finish utilizing structured project management methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across different functions.

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical, pharmaceutical, or automotive is preferred.

• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time according to business requirements.
