Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for overseeing the execution and timely completion of engagements from inception to conclusion.

• Oversee the comprehensive Project Management Life Cycle, including management of resources, budgets, and project timelines.

• Be accountable for creating a consolidated overview of project deliverables, milestones, roadmaps, and iterations/sprints/schedules to ensure on-time deliveries within the defined scope and budget, while guaranteeing visibility and optimal client satisfaction.

• Communicate effectively by providing direction and feedback to pertinent stakeholders, managing expectations and conflicts, and addressing unforeseen challenges.

• Identify, monitor, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies utilizing best-practice problem-solving techniques.

• Establish and utilize effective escalation pathways and communicate with relevant stakeholders promptly.

• Lead and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders at all levels, including business relationship and technical team meetings, to assess progress and resolve questions or challenges.

• Utilize traditional project management and Agile methodologies to deliver projects, including backlog/requirements refinement, sprints/iteration planning and execution, clarifying the definition of done, team communication, progress visualization, retrospectives, and demonstrations.

• Monitor and provide weekly budget and status updates for project engagements.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages of maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a full-lifecycle project manager employing modern Agile Project Management methodologies.

• At least 5 years of experience leading Scrum events and backlog refinement sessions.

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience managing business or technical project budgets, risks, and issues.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing projects within consulting (professional and managed services projects).

• Experience in leading cloud transformation projects utilizing Azure or AWS (Datacenter Migration, Azure DevOps, App Modernization, etc.).
