Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as Project Manager/Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.

• Oversee and manage one or several projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

• Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables based on the Statement of Work.

• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, resource distribution, and dependencies.

• Maintain the Project Budget Tracker/Burn Sheet.

• Assemble project teams, delegate tasks, and manage resources effectively.

• Promote collaboration and communication among team members.

• Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Regularly update stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and successes.

• Ensure that deliverables adhere to quality standards and implement quality control measures.

• Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

• Supervise the QA Lead and adhere to appropriate internal and external escalation protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.

• At least 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Project Manager.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred experience in software development, IT, or technology-related projects.

• Familiarity with project risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

• Experience in conducting quality evaluations and implementing corrective measures.

• Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Asana, and Trello.

• Prior experience in IT industries and with ERP and/or CRM technology platforms.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong skills in project leadership, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and escalation management.
