This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Take full ownership of the delivery process for both client-facing and internal transformation initiatives.
• Lead the project initiation phase, including the creation of Project Charters, RACI matrices, and facilitation of kick-off meetings.
• Conduct discovery sessions with clients and partners to confirm requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, perform critical path analyses, and maintain risk registers.
• Establish governance structures and controls that align with the organization's project management framework.
• Chair Project Steering Committees, daily stand-ups, and cross-functional checkpoint meetings.
• Identify, prioritize, and escalate risks and issues proactively.
• Manage changes in scope, schedule, and budget through a formal change control process.
• Coordinate resources across various departments and report on project performance to senior stakeholders.
• Generate regular status updates and maintain thorough, auditable project documentation.
• Lead retrospectives and conduct formal project closure activities.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within a technology or financial services sector.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and PMBOK/Waterfall.
• Experience in managing cross-border projects in an international setting with multiple time zones.
• Proficient in risk identification, mitigation strategies, and escalation processes.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align with senior-level stakeholders.
• Highly organized and capable of managing several concurrent projects of varying complexities.
• Professional proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required for all internal and client-facing communications.
