Project Manager – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Currently, we assist over 6,000 accounting firms throughout France, with the aim of transitioning an increasing number to Pennylane.

• Our team of Project Managers supports these firms through various phases of their partnership with us ⏬

• In the pilot phase, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to implementing Pennylane’s pilot phase, including planning, coordination, communication, initial onboarding support, facilitating workshops, developing the client and staff onboarding strategy, and analyzing the project's technical stages.

• During the deployment phase, the Project Manager plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth transition from pilot to full utilization of the tool by both staff and clients, involving planning and coordination as well as resource management.

• Ultimately, the objective is to foster and maintain a trusting relationship with our partners to ensure the pilot’s success and facilitate deployment under optimal conditions.

• The Project Management team collaborates closely with the commercial/sales team to devise a targeted local strategy for firms within the same area, providing valuable opportunities to learn from and engage with a robust regional accounting ecosystem.

• You will serve as the primary liaison for accounting firms alongside the sales representative throughout the pilot phase, from testing to the lifetime of the contracts.

• You will ensure effective communication with your clients, grasp their needs, and guarantee that the project aligns with the firm's requirements.

• You will have the ability to identify potential ambassadors, which is crucial for establishing a relationship with the partner firm to foster a reliable and trusting collaboration.

• You comprehend their challenges and exhibit reliability and proactivity to support them effectively.

• You will be the main contact within the firm coordinating the deployment phase of Pennylane, necessitating knowledge of the accounting ecosystem and the capacity to develop the project timeline with partner accounting firms, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring all activities related to the project to meet objectives within the designated timeframe.

• You will act as a bridge between the firm’s project teams and Pennylane’s teams to resolve all issues concerning solution deployment, including training and support.

• You will oversee teams and allocate necessary resources to tackle resource-related issues throughout the project.

• By utilizing our analytics tools and adopting a data-driven approach, you will inform your strategies and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the adoption of our tool and migration solutions for our partners, leveraging the right data at the right moment to make informed decisions in account strategy.

• You possess experience in an accounting firm, audit and/or consulting firm, startup/scale-up, or corporate setting.

• You have a strong foundation in accounting without necessarily being an expert.

• You are interested in technology.
