Project Management Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Inter-agency Coordination: Overseeing the planning and collaboration between NOPP and ONR representatives, which includes managing drafts of Inter-agency Agreements (IAA) and organizing monthly Inter-agency Work Group (IWG) meetings, as well as preparing meeting agendas and minutes to ensure strategic alignment across agencies.

• Financial and Spend Planning: Liaising with the OER Administration and Finance Division to document funding transfers for projects and developing the annual NOPP spend plan to maintain fiscal alignment.

• Reporting and Outreach: Facilitating the creation of the NOPP Annual Report and implementing outreach initiatives to enhance program visibility; additionally, providing updates to leadership on the status of inter-agency coordination during monthly internal OER-NOPP meetings.

• Programmatic Services: Collaborating with NOAA science programs and laboratories to explore options and funding opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Suitable candidate to support a contract with NOAA Research Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER).

• Experience in project management and inter-agency coordination services.

• Proven ability to facilitate and organize monthly Inter-agency Work Group (IWG) meetings.

• Experience in financial and spending planning coordination.

• Demonstrated success in executing reporting and outreach initiatives.

• Experience in coordinating with NOAA science programs and laboratories to explore options and obtain funding opportunities.
