This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee the organization's Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring uniform application of project management methodologies and governance.
• Set up project management standards, templates, tools, reporting mechanisms, and best practices throughout the organization.
• Create and sustain the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring alignment of projects with strategic goals.
• Assess organizational capacity and prioritize projects based on business value and available resources.
• Provide executive leaders with insights into project status, risks, and resource use.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Directly supervise, coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers and other project management personnel.
• Allocate projects based on workload, expertise, and organizational priorities.
• Offer guidance and support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Personally spearhead the organization's most strategic, complex, and high-impact initiatives.
• Develop project charters, implementation strategies, budgets, communication plans, resource plans, and success metrics.
• Ensure timely project delivery within scope and approved budgets.
• Manage cross-functional teams comprising leaders from Operations, Sales, Recruiting, Clinical Services, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, and other departments.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
• Translate business strategies into actionable project plans.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to resolve competing priorities and enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Advise leadership on project risks, organizational readiness, implementation planning, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting throughout the project portfolio.
• Monitor project resource allocation and workload distribution among Project Managers.
• Assess project return on investment (ROI) and organizational impact.
• Ensure effective utilization of both internal resources and external contractors.
• Proactively identify organizational and project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned reviews.
• Encourage innovation and operational enhancements across the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is required.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management.
• 3+ years of experience in leading or supervising Project Managers or project management teams.
• Proven success in leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
• Experience in managing third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
• Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and portfolio management.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Strong capabilities in coaching, mentoring, and employee development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Strategic planning and organizational leadership skills.
• Strong experience in financial and budget management.
• Advanced negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms).
