Project Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belize.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance in comprehensive project management, coordination, and fiduciary oversight to guarantee the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of all project outputs and outcomes.

• Oversee daily project operations, ensuring effective collaboration among all executing and partner entities.

• Ensure project activities are carried out on time, within budget, and according to the defined technical standards.

• Assist with all financial management aspects in strict adherence to PACT's Regulatory Framework and AF Operational Policies.

• Track project progress against the Results Framework, including core AF indicators and gender-disaggregated targets.

• Promote communication and collaboration between PACT, CZMAI, NMS, and other key partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Climate Change Adaptation, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Coastal Zone Management, International Development, or a related field, along with an additional 3 years of relevant experience in Project Management.

• At least five (5) years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder development projects, ideally in climate adaptation, environmental, or natural resources sectors.

• Experience with international donor-funded projects (e.g., Adaptation Fund, Green Climate Fund, GEF, World Bank, UNDP).

• Proficiency in financial management, budget oversight, and procurement in accordance with international fiduciary standards.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to prepare high-quality technical and financial reports for PACT.

• Proficiency in Spanish would be advantageous.
