This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new clients.
• Conduct assessments to determine project needs.
• Collaborate with both internal and external BIM/VDC teams.
• Lead the onboarding process for new project engagements.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships.
• Engage in meetings, presentations, and industry events.
• Monitor pipeline, updates, and communication logs.
• Provide technical oversight for the coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Execute constructability reviews utilizing federated BIM models and contract drawings.
• Identify spatial conflicts, access challenges, and installation limitations prior to construction.
• Work closely with engineers and trade partners to ensure viable solutions.
• Develop and update Revit models for MEPFP systems as necessary to facilitate coordination.
• Oversee federated models, ensuring their integrity, accuracy, and adherence to project standards.
• Review models submitted by consultants and subcontractors for quality and readiness for coordination.
• Assist in the development of model-based shop drawings and coordination layouts.
• Lead clash detection processes using advanced coordination tools.
• Manage clash reports, track issues, and oversee resolution cycles.
• Assign coordination responsibilities to relevant trades and oversee the resolution of coordination issues.
• Facilitate weekly BIM coordination meetings and technical workshops.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure alignment between design intent, coordination results, and field constructability.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM/VDC procedures.
• Assist project teams with digital planning, sequencing, and model-based problem-solving.
• Contribute to enhanced schedule reliability, coordination efficiency, and minimized rework.
• Provide updates on coordination status, progress in clash resolution, and metrics on model health.
• 5+ years of experience in AEC, VED/BIM, construction technology, or digital construction roles.
• Strong skills in client engagement.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital construction workflows.
• Ability to interpret project specifications and requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for MEP modeling.
• Experience with Navisworks or similar BIM coordination tools.
• Capability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
