Project Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the financial subject matter expert for Myriad360's Professional Services division.

• Manage financial performance of projects, including profitability analysis, forecasting, pricing strategies, cost governance, and financial reporting across various customer engagements.

• Deliver financial insights that enhance project profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and promote operational excellence.

• Assist in establishing financial governance standards, educate project teams on financial best practices, and facilitate strategic pricing decisions.

• Ensure effective financial management throughout the entire project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance, project accounting, FP&A, Professional Services finance, consulting finance, or a related area.

• Experience in supporting project-based organizations such as Professional Services, consulting, systems integration, engineering services, or Managed Services.

• Strong knowledge of project profitability, forecasting, financial modeling, cost accounting, and financial analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience in developing financial models.

• Experience in creating executive dashboards and financial reports.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to influence operational teams and promote financial accountability without direct authority.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill set.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in implementing or supporting cost-based project accounting methodologies, transitioning organizations from percentage-of-completion reporting to cost-based project financial management, familiarity with project-based ERP and PSA systems, and experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools, knowledge of revenue recognition principles and Professional Services operations, and experience in supporting pricing strategy, margin improvement initiatives, and portfolio analytics.
