This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to establish program objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource strategies
β’ Manage and supervise intricate, multi-location retail construction programs from the planning phase through to execution
β’ Ensure successful outcomes across all critical performance metrics: financials, schedule adherence, quality, and client satisfaction
β’ Create detailed program and project plans that include risk identification, staffing assignments, and contingency strategies
β’ Set standards, processes, and reporting frameworks to promote consistency and transparency
β’ Monitor program performance and proactively adjust plans to align with changing business requirements
β’ Oversee program finances, encompassing budgets, forecasting, and monthly performance assessments
β’ Lead contract negotiations and secure approvals with clients, contractors, and suppliers
β’ Ensure precise cost estimating, procurement, and contract management
β’ Guide, mentor, and develop project teams to enhance performance and career progression
β’ Cultivate a collaborative, high-accountability team environment
β’ Establish and maintain robust relationships with contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers
β’ Represent the organization in client and project meetings as a senior representative
β’ Identify and engage top-tier partners to facilitate successful project execution
β’ Assist in the development of new client relationships and growth strategies
β’ Introduce innovative solutions, technologies, and best practices to enhance program results
β’ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
β’ Over 15 years of experience in construction/project management, specifically leading large-scale programs
β’ Proven track record in managing multi-site retail, big-box, and/or grocery projects
β’ Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting, financial oversight, and contract negotiation
β’ Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
β’ Capability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments with competing priorities
β’ Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
