This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with customers and the community.
• Conduct essential customer service visits from the pre-construction phase through to project close-out.
• Review proposals and engage in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers on assigned projects.
• Assist in business development efforts while nurturing customer relationships.
• Ensure oversight and accountability for significant projects.
• Oversee contract administration, including terms, change orders, and invoicing processes.
• Manage project budgets, costs, and pricing to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for the project team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of prior experience in construction management overseeing large-scale projects (valued at $20M or more).
• Demonstrated capability to manage responsibilities from development through to project closeout for multiple complex projects.
• Attention to detail sufficient to effectively organize and manage various project tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction law and widely accepted business practices.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and relevant web applications.
• A proven positive and professional demeanor, along with strong customer service abilities.
• Capacity to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies.

• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.
