Project Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all elements of the estimating process.

• Aim to achieve a 50% close ratio for all estimates provided, ensuring profit margins of at least 40% for hoarding projects and 70% for biohazard jobs.

• Document estimates through video recordings, screen sharing, and on-site evaluations.

• Accountable for meeting or surpassing monthly and annual gross and net profit targets.

• Conduct follow-ups and schedule based on the estimates provided.

• Engage with New Customer Alerts on CleanNet and reach out to new customer contacts via phone, email, and live chat (ZAZA Chat) on websites.

• Determine and collect payment for estimating fees at the time of estimate, ranging from $25.00 to $150.00.

• Gather deposits when scheduling hoarding jobs.

• Communicate effectively with office staff, field technicians, management at all levels, and customers.

• Participate in out-of-town events, trade shows, conferences, speaking engagements, and seminars.

• Attend various company meetings, both on-site and off-site, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sessions, as well as multi-day retreats.

• Be present at job sites when required to ensure thorough and efficient completion of work according to the estimates provided.

• Offer training, motivation, coaching, and team-building support to technicians on job-related technical aspects as needed, including participation in technician meetings and orientations.

• Assist in developing policies for management review when necessary.

• Engage in continuing education classes focused on management, hoarding, and biohazard topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Must reside within a 50-minute commute of the office for which you are applying.

• Preferred experience with power tools and in construction or restoration fields.

• Must be capable of working in a respirator and full personal protective equipment for extended periods.

• Availability required Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm.

• Must be on call some evenings and weekends.

• Reliable transportation to the office is necessary.

• Must possess a working cell phone.
