Project Engineer, Technical Project Manager – Metal Fabrication

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will take on the independent responsibility of reviewing design and manufacturing drawings.

• You will ensure that only error-free, complete, and standards-compliant drawings are released for production.

• You will verify dimensions, tolerances, fits, and material specifications while ensuring optimal surface and corrosion protection.

• You will meticulously align plans with customer requirements and will be accountable for compliance with these specifications.

• You will identify design errors or ambiguities at an early stage and proactively seek clarification from engineering or the customer regarding outstanding questions.

• After a successful review, you will grant final approval for drawings intended for production or assembly and ensure comprehensive documentation of all reviews and approvals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid professional background in metal or steel construction, ideally acquired through training as a Technical System Planner, Master Metalworker, a technical qualification, or an engineering degree.

• A strong and confident understanding of technical drawings along with a solid knowledge of applicable standards, particularly DIN 7200.

• Extensive knowledge of welded structures, manufacturing processes, and corrosion protection suitable for outdoor applications.

• A meticulous, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with internal departments and external partners in both German and English.
