Project Engineer – Offshore Digital Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the collaborative modeling environment within Autodesk Construction Cloud.

• Develop catalog items in accordance with the GPP’s Pipe Spec Portal guidelines.

• Revise existing CAE/BIM models utilizing the Hexagon Smart 3D platform.

• Manage digital assets and engineering data in collaborative settings.

• Assist teams with model integration, clash detection, and data management.

• Conduct field laser scanning using laser scanning equipment on FPSOs and stationary production units (SPUs).

• Register, process, clean, georeference, and carry out quality control on point clouds.

• Oversee and manage Plan360 updates at UO-ES units.

• Train new capture technicians.

• Compile reports, technical documentation, and procedures related to Digital Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Active CREA registration.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.

• Experience in offshore laser scanning activities on FPSOs and stationary production units (SPUs).

• Familiarity with 3D modeling using Hexagon Smart 3D and Autodesk Plant 3D.

• Understanding of BIM administration within Autodesk BIM Collaborate and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

• Knowledge of reality capture technologies, including 360° photography and immersive 360° virtual navigation solutions.
