This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Lead or coordinate the planning, resource allocation, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting for various programs.
• Direct an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to design, develop, manufacture, and deliver products.
• Collaborate with engineering management to plan, staff, and execute projects of varying sizes.
• Act as the engineering liaison to program management, senior leadership, and customers.
• Ensure that project outcomes meet the required technical quality, reliability, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Conduct engineering design evaluations and ensure project completion within budget and time limits.
• Assess industry policies and procedures for data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulations.
• Analyze production, malfunction, and maintenance reports to identify or resolve issues.
• Offer technical support throughout the engineering process.
• Design, implement, and communicate operational strategies for project completion.
• Track progress and performance relative to project plans.
• Address operational challenges and reduce delays.
• Identify, develop, and assemble the necessary resources for project completion.
• Prepare engineering designs and work specifications.
• Create project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Choose materials, equipment, project personnel, and external contractors.
• Associate's Degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• A degree in engineering is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Capable of analytical thinking.
• Experience with design reviews.
• Background in project engineering.
• Skills in resource planning.
• Competence in technical project management.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software.
• Experience with project management software.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety or health hazards.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
