This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review, assess, manage, and resolve field coordination challenges alongside project team members and stakeholders.
• Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and skilled tradespeople.
• Implement the pre-construction quality strategy and secure and uphold construction permits.
• Develop and oversee material tracking, testing and inspection, concrete placement, and documentation of non-conformance.
• Create, manage, and distribute contract documentation.
• Establish electronic document management protocols, including RFIs and correspondence.
• Assist in project closeout activities.
• Lead testing and inspection activities to ensure construction quality management.
• Implement the three-phase inspection system and set up reporting, scheduling, and off-site testing protocols.
• Inform the Project Manager and Superintendent of any nonconforming test or inspection outcomes.
• Coordinate, compile, review, process, expedite, and report on submittals.
• Manage subcontractor details, including insurance verification, documentation, and final payment requests.
• Develop and distribute RFIs and Change Orders.
• Oversee revisions and updates to as-built construction documentation.
• Mentor, manage, and evaluate field engineers.
• Identify alternative work methodologies, coordinate safety and compliance, and uphold project timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Strong attention to detail capable of organizing and effectively managing multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
• Excellent teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret and convey Mortenson policies.
• Current driver's license.
• Must be willing to travel 100% of the time.
