
Project Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise the technical design and engineering of designated projects, ensuring they align with the scope and are completed successfully.
• Evaluate and select process equipment, vendors, and subcontractors to fulfill project requirements.
• Facilitate coordination between field construction teams and subcontractors, maintaining the integrity of the engineering design.
• Lead customer review meetings, addressing technical issues and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Work in partnership with the Plant Manager to resolve any arising issues.
• Collaborate within teams to enhance processes and systems, utilizing Lean methodologies and concepts.
• Ensure that designs adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Advocate for safety through the appropriate design of processes and selection of equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and practices while working in the plant environment.
• Provide weekly progress reports to senior management.
• Manage project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure timely project completion, meeting customer expectations.
• Assist with special projects and perform other assigned tasks.
• Capability to oversee and manage projects from the design phase through to completion.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in working effectively within team environments.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work efficiently in remote settings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• At least 2 years of experience in the engineering and/or construction field.
• General knowledge of construction practices (preferred).
• Experience within the chemical industry (preferred).
