Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement intricate technical projects across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user settings, which encompass design, configuration, deployment, and post-implementation support.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and meet client expectations.

• Act as a senior technical resource throughout the project lifecycle, offering guidance, troubleshooting, and escalation support.

• Lead client-facing email migrations, including transitions from Exchange-to-Exchange and Exchange-to-cloud.

• Set up office networks, which include firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and UPS devices.

• Execute file-sharing migrations from Windows-based servers to cloud platforms like Egnyte, Box, and OneDrive.

• Implement security solutions, including SSO and MFA using Okta or similar service providers.

• Carry out Windows Server upgrades and migrations.

• Coordinate office relocations in partnership with Project Managers and vendors.

• Deploy audio/video and telephony systems in collaboration with third-party vendors.

• Provide end-user training and support for new systems and technologies.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, which includes runbooks, network diagrams, IP schemas, configuration guides, and build documentation.

• Develop user-facing documentation in accordance with Coretelligent standards.

• Monitor and assist with project budgets, timelines, and reporting alongside Project Managers.

• Ensure client satisfaction from the implementation phase through to project closeout.

• Work with internal teams to transition project delivery to ongoing support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience with hands-on IT systems architecture, deployment, support, and best practices.

• Advanced Technical Certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) are required.

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMware vSphere.

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server (2019 / 2016 / 2012 R2).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory (Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, NPS, etc.).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Exchange Server (2019, 2016, 2013, 2010).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting VPN Clients (Cisco, Fortinet).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Wireless Technology (Aerohive, Meraki, Ubiquiti).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Remote Desktop (MS RDS, Citrix).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cloud Services (O365, Egnyte, Centrify/iDaptive, Box/DropBox, etc.).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Storage Solutions (HPE Nimble, DellEMC, Synology, etc.).

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Backup Solutions (Veeam, Zerto, etc.).

• Willingness to travel for project work at least once a month.

• Availability to work nights and weekends regularly for off-hours upgrades and migrations.
