This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Facilitate the successful launch of new hotel openings through project management, training, operational development, milestone tracking, and dedicated single-point-of-contact service.
• Conduct onsite and virtual consultations during various phases of the opening process.
• Supervise the hotel onboarding process to ensure adherence to brand standards, design specifications, and Rules & Regulations, while enforcing the Property Improvement Plan (PIP) as necessary.
• Assist owners by utilizing a variety of onboarding resources, including the openings portal and Choice Connect, to enhance the onboarding experience.
• Oversee the migration of hotel data into Choice’s PROP-EL tool to ensure accurate distribution across Choice channels and third-party platforms.
• Ensure franchisees utilize Choice-approved vendors and services during the purchasing process leading up to the opening.
• Monitor and document hotel consultations and openings to guarantee compliance with brand design and PIP/new construction standards, tracking PIP completion for timely property transitions, and acting as a liaison between owners and CHI Architecture and Design for new construction or conversion needs.
• Support owners in overcoming opening challenges, sourcing issues, and providing expedited solutions to prevent delays in the launch.
• Implement pre-opening training programs provided by Choice to ensure both owners and hotel managers are well-versed in Choice’s operational protocols.
• Notify the compliance committee if an opening requires an extension or if a project is not progressing as planned.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in hotel operations.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to multitask and handle the high-stress complexities associated with project management and opening requirements.
• Strong customer service, training, consultation, and negotiation skills are essential.
• Experience managing multiple properties is advantageous.
• Proven competence in using and coaching proprietary and industry-specific technologies.
• Significant experience in property-level and/or above-property-level hotel operations and sales/marketing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and project management tools.
• Ability to leverage AI tools effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
