This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Program and Project Managers in organizing daily operations and monitoring the progress of vaccine development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sabin personnel to plan and oversee tasks, timelines, forecasts, actuals, and deliverables to guarantee successful completion within set timelines.
• Facilitate coordination among teams and programs to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Organize the preparation, tracking, review, refinement, and submission of deliverables to guarantee timely delivery to stakeholders, including but not limited to weekly dashboards and biweekly and monthly reports.
• Support the execution of meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking action items, and distributing materials to participants.
• Aid in the creation, maintenance, and updating of project timelines using Office Timeline, Smartsheet, and MS Project in collaboration with Program and Project Manager(s) and Scheduler.
• Keep project files updated and ensure document control within project management systems.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of Program and Project Management processes and tools to facilitate execution and overall R&D operations.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives by providing leadership in planning and execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or a similar position within the life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management principles and relevant software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project) is desired.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously, anticipate needs, and take initiative.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, possessing strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, MS Teams).
• Proven ability to think critically and exhibit troubleshooting, problem-solving, and service-oriented skills and approaches.
• Experience managing confidential and sensitive information; ability to exercise discretion.
• Capable of processing information quickly and listening attentively to feedback and comments, adapting plans/actions as needed.
