Project Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Project Coordinator is essential in assisting the Retail Merchandising team with the successful execution of new store openings, remodels, and capital projects.

• This role involves coordinating with construction, logistics, marketing, and third-party vendors to address issues related to fixtures, product delivery, and signage.

• The position is responsible for planning and implementing onsite merchandising activities, monitoring project progress, and facilitating cost reductions and process enhancements.

• Aids in training and developing Retail Merchandisers and Store Employees in crucial company procedures regarding merchandising, pricing, safety, and operational systems.

• Conducts the recruiting and hiring process for new members of the Retail Merchandising Team as necessary.

• Works in conjunction with the Logistics Supervisor to arrange product delivery and communicate any replenishment issues.

• Manages the scheduling of travel for the Retail Merchandising Team in accordance with the company’s travel policy as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience in supervising a high-volume retail store and/or overseeing store openings or remodels.

• A college or four-year degree is preferred.

• Must demonstrate outstanding time management and organizational skills.

• Should exhibit exceptional leadership and supervisory capabilities.

• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Should demonstrate intermediate typing proficiency and a working knowledge of computer applications, including Excel and Word.

• Must show exceptional proficiency with Outlook and the ability to schedule meetings using Outlook Calendar.
