Project Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and manage the initial planning, design, preparation, execution, and closure phases of projects as part of the Project Management Team.

• Assess and provide feedback on current processes and operations.

• Offer insights and suggestions regarding efficiency opportunities and enhancements throughout the project life cycle.

• Take a leading role in overseeing subcontractors, including validating credentials, confirming company contractor requirements (e.g., insurance, WCB/WSIB, safety programs), and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards by monitoring and upholding all related HSSE policies; verify that all QA/QC requirements are fulfilled.

• Generate, track, and uphold financial records, reports, and processes as necessary.

• Develop and establish work systems and procedures needed for operational handover, providing sufficient training to all team members.

• Maintain project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Apply and execute best practices and disciplines in project management.

• Serve as the Cando site representative as needed; communicate with all stakeholders as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a railway or similar industrial environment.

• Familiarity with hydrocarbon processes, regulations, and equipment.

• Experience in railcar handling, TDG, and railcar anatomy.

• A diploma in Business or Project Management is preferred.
