This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Support the procurement and project management teams by coordinating project-related activities.
• Assist the project manager in creating project plans and the necessary communication documents.
• Take proactive steps in developing schedules and tracking milestones.
• Aid the procurement manager in managing vendor commitments and cultivating relationships.
• Develop and convey project status updates clearly and succinctly.
• Oversee the communication flow for contract submissions, project reports, invoicing, vendor submissions, and other documentation between the customer, project team, and suppliers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with both internal and external project stakeholders.
• Provide daily support for subcontractor operations through effective coordination and scheduling.
• Take charge of the subcontractor schedule, ensuring job flow and customer satisfaction.
• Identify the critical path necessary for task completion and manage it until the end.
• Solve unique problems as they arise.
• Actively engage in the creation and maintenance of online business management tools utilized for the development and execution of all projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in revising processes to enhance efficiency and client experience.
• Support the procurement manager in developing requests for proposals and contract exhibits.
• Monitor project status to ensure documentation is submitted on schedule.
• Review and confirm project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract stipulations.
• Submit project proposals and documentation to management for approval, and transmit approved documents to the customer.
• Utilize and promote excellent customer service soft skills.
• Understand and advocate for Canadian Solar products and offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager/Director.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field from a recognized university or college.
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written, and visual communication).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen ability to manage deadlines.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Project.
• Proficient in scheduling with MS Project.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated professionalism in appearance and conduct.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) as required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to commute to work locations.
