Project Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the design team to create and execute project plans, encompassing concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

• Perform site visits and conduct site analysis to assess project feasibility and ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations.

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee successful project execution.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project requirements and address any design challenges.

• Evaluate and approve project submittals, such as shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups.

• Offer technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices to enhance design processes and results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design, particularly in commercial or hospitality projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.

• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.

• Exceptional project management abilities, including multitasking and meeting strict deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and clients.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

• Willingness to travel for occasional site visits and meetings.
