This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data from various sources to support strategic initiatives in the Data Center.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards utilizing Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other business intelligence tools.
• Track key performance indicators and deliver actionable insights to aid business decision-making.
• Recognize trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities through thorough data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend reporting requirements and convert business needs into analytical solutions.
• Assist in data validation, quality assurance, and ensure reporting accuracy to maintain data integrity.
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports for leadership and operational teams.
• Streamline and enhance manual reporting processes.
• Clearly and concisely present findings and recommendations.
• Work alongside IT, data engineering, project teams, and business stakeholders to enhance data availability and usability.
• Aid in project schedule tracking, reporting, and coordination tasks.
• Comply with Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting business data from diverse sources.
• Demonstrated experience in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or comparable BI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to communicate complex data and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in supporting project coordination, reporting, and schedule management activities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of data validation, reporting accuracy, and methodologies for process improvement.
• Ability to work independently with precision and attention to detail.
• High school diploma, completion certificate of secondary education, or equivalent experience that complies with applicable regulations.
• May necessitate licensing for adherence to export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Extensive work experience and deep knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
