Project Accountant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute the entire billing cycle for each assigned project, ensuring efficiency and accuracy while meeting all deadlines to minimize billing and collections cycle times.

• Collaborate directly with clients to deliver exceptional customer service, addressing their needs and providing effective solutions.

• Follow up on all billing-related matters until resolution, including making necessary invoice corrections.

• Review the financial performance of projects on a monthly basis and work closely with project managers as required.

• Manage and oversee project-specific budgets and spreadsheets, while also providing any necessary ad hoc reports.

• Coordinate collection efforts and address aged Work In Progress (WIP) issues.

• Participate in project review calls.

• Assist with month-end revenue reviews as needed.

• Resolve any invoicing issues related to projects.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• 2-4 years of experience in project accounting or billing, preferably within the engineering and/or architecture sectors.

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

• Familiarity with Deltek or ERP software is advantageous.

• Strong capability to manage multiple priorities, drive process enhancements, and resolve complex operational billing issues.

• Demonstrated ability to support cross-functional projects, track progress, and manage communication with stakeholders.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business management software (ERP, HRIS, project management tools).
