This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Take ownership and manage cross-workstream alignment, dependencies, and critical paths throughout the entire programme lifecycle.
• Define, manage, and continuously enhance programme-level artefacts, governance, and reporting to facilitate decision-making and assurance.
• Deliver clear, insight-driven executive reports to senior clients and Valtech leadership, emphasizing risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Oversee programme assurance, which includes conducting regular health assessments and implementing proactive interventions.
• Shape and launch new initiatives and opportunities within the engagement.
• Identify and promote enhancements to delivery models, team structures, and operational methods.
• Serve as an escalation point for intricate delivery, commercial, or stakeholder issues.
• Ensure that delivery outcomes are in line with strategic client objectives and long-term account goals.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex programmes with multiple concurrent workstreams, teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale programmes or portfolios, encompassing scope, budget, risk, and value realization.
• Established experience in overseeing project budgets.
• Exhibits commercial acumen, including management of programme financials, forecasting, and margin and efficiency optimization.
• Assists in opportunity shaping in partnership with Client Partners, converting ambiguous briefs into structured programmes and delivery strategies.
• Strong expertise in delivery assurance: evaluating programme health, pinpointing risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, and initiating corrective actions.
• Proven capability to design and enhance programme governance, operating models, and team structures.
• Experience utilizing data and performance metrics to guide decisions and promote continuous improvement.
• Comfortable influencing across various disciplines, markets, and levels of seniority.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
• Flexibility, with remote and hybrid working options (dependent on the country).
