Programador – Moldes Industriales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Program machining trajectories for CNC centers using CAM software.

• Analyze technical drawings and 3D models to ensure accurate and efficient programming.

• Define tools, cutting strategies, and parameters that optimize time and quality.

• Provide technical support during the manufacturing of parts and address any process issues.

• Suggest improvements that enhance production efficiency and reduce cycle times.

• Collaborate effectively with CAD, engineering, and workshop teams to ensure the final outcome.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical, technologist, or professional training in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

• Additional training in CAM programming or CNC machining is valued.

• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is important.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAM Programmer in industrial environments.

• Experience with CAM software, preferably PowerMill.

• Knowledge of NX, Mastercam, Tebis, or other similar systems is appreciated.

• Experience with CNC machining centers with 3 and 5 axes.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and solid 3D models.

• Understanding of precision machining processes, ideally in the manufacturing of molds or complex parts.

• Familiarity with FANUC, SIEMENS, and HEIDENHAIN controls is advantageous.

• Technical proficiency in English and/or French is a plus.
