This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Assist Camelback Ventures in its ongoing dedication to support entrepreneurs launching charter schools and those creating educational programs and products.
• Guide and mentor a diverse group of founders as they enhance their business strategies, devise sustainable fundraising plans, and offer continuous support and connections beyond their Fellowship journey.
• Utilize experience with education ventures and charter school founders during selection processes, program facilitation, and the execution of Camelback Ventures' strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate to design and curate innovative experiences and programs for founders involved in the Camelback Ventures network.
• Build partnerships with the investor community to aid fellows in establishing the networks and relationships necessary for securing follow-on funding for their initiatives.
• Support the team in further enhancing the design and development of a high-quality curriculum and scope and sequence that nurtures the growth of the founders and ventures within our program.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
• Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to contribute to organizational strategy, program design, and thought leadership.
• Strong commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and social justice.
• Awareness of the challenges encountered by entrepreneurs from historically marginalized communities.
• Proven background as an education venture founder, K-12 public and/or charter school teacher, charter school leader or founder, or a combination of these experiences.
• Documented success in coaching, mentoring, or advising entrepreneurs, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds (people of color, women, non-binary founders) at various stages of development, including early and growth-stage ventures.
• Ability to deliver actionable feedback, support leadership development, and encourage growth mindsets.
• Established experience in designing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, or cohort-based learning experiences for adult learners.
• Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to customize content for diverse adult audiences and various learning styles.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors, funders, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Experience with alumni engagement or network management.
• Proficiency in utilizing data to inform program design, assess outcomes, and promote ongoing improvement.
• Comfort with data analysis tools and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., business, education, nonprofit management, social sciences).
