This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for project planning and program-level management, overseeing scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and profitable completion of work.
• Plays a crucial role in design conceptualization and manages all project aspects, including reviewing the work of an interdisciplinary team to secure and successfully execute projects through proven technical and managerial abilities.
• Execute complex tasks independently and provide training to individuals on new systems or services.
• Utilize organizational and management expertise to navigate unique and complex projects, effectively diagnosing issues, formulating action plans, and implementing solutions to provide suitable resolutions.
• Generate accurate monthly billings and recognize revenue through prompt approval of invoices and updates to the project plan.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, forecasts, and budget reports for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with work and contract terms, maintaining project files, attending meetings, conducting periodic team meetings, and fostering positive client relationships.
• Manage accounts receivable at both project and program levels.
• Operate independently with minimal guidance, showcasing demonstrated success in similar program responsibilities.
• Assist in the development of proposals and contracts by outlining project approaches, scopes of services, and budgets based on similar project experiences and historical budgeting data, including discussing project management issues during client interviews.
• Responsibilities also include negotiating fees for projects of specified scope, reviewing and approving proposal documents, and securing authorized signatures on contracts.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
• A graduate from an engineering program accredited by the Accreditation for Engineering and Technology (A.E.T.) holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in design and commissioning, managing projects independently, with a solid understanding of building systems operations principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities are essential.
• Proficient in relevant software (MS Office Suite, CxAlloy, Procore, AutoCAD/REVIT).
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 25% of the time.
• Preferred: Commissioning Certification.
• Experience with Deltek Vision/VantagePoint project management software.
