This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Act as the primary Program Manager responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of training program activities.
• Create, revise, and sustain training curricula, lesson plans, instructor guides, student materials, assessments, and associated instructional products.
• Implement Instructional Systems Design principles and recognized methodologies, including ADDIE, throughout the training development process.
• Design and deliver effective in-person/instructor-led training sessions for adult learners.
• Create and provide virtual instructor-led and hybrid training utilizing Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
• Utilize chat, polls, whiteboards, screen sharing, breakout rooms, Q&A, and collaborative activities to enhance learner engagement.
• Employ adult learning principles and instructional techniques to facilitate knowledge retention, comprehension, and practical application.
• Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and course requirements.
• Convert technical, operational, and program specifications into clear and effective instructional content.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, learner feedback, performance observations, and other metrics.
• Manage instructors, scheduling, training materials, logistics, and communication with stakeholders.
• Oversee training quality and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Ensure that training products and delivery methods align with customer and program specifications.
• Provide program leadership, operational management, and continuity throughout the performance period.
• Act as the designated decision-maker for assigned program activities and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with government/customer representatives and stakeholders to address training and program-related issues.
• Ensure that the designated alternate is informed and ready to take on PM responsibilities during PM absences.
• 5–7 years of experience in developing and delivering training.
• Experience in Defense and/or healthcare training settings.
• Proficient in Instructional Systems Design (ISD).
• Skilled in curriculum and course development.
• Familiarity with adult learning methodologies.
• Experience in conducting training needs analysis.
• Ability to establish learning objectives and instructional strategies.
• Background in training evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in delivering both on-site/in-person and virtual instructor-led training.
• Proficient with MS Teams or similar virtual platforms and learner engagement tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, coordination, and facilitation skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and fulfill customer requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in instructional design, training, facilitation, or program management are preferred.
• Experience supporting federal, Department of Defense, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Background in developing training for technical, operational, or professional audiences is preferred.
• Experience in managing multiple training courses, instructors, schedules, and deliverables is preferred.
• Experience with blended learning and other technology-enabled training methodologies is preferred.
