Program Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute high-level strategies to further Akamai's CSR goals of enhancing lives and livelihoods in India, focusing on Education, Inclusion, Community Development, and Water initiatives.

• Create and uphold strong governance structures and processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to regulatory requirements in India.

• Supervise the formulation and execution of policies, procedures, and guidelines that govern Akamai's CSR operations and activities.

• Design and implement thorough monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of CSR initiatives.

• Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with government entities, NGOs, corporations, social enterprises, academic institutions, and community organizations.

• Collect and curate volunteer stories, photographs, and impactful highlights to enhance internal engagement and demonstrate program outcomes.

• Produce engaging impact narratives, event summaries, and communication materials that showcase CSR initiatives and promote employee volunteering efforts.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging surrounding CSR activities and events, enhancing program visibility and employee engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related discipline (advanced degree is preferred).

• A minimum of 7–8 years of experience in CSR program management, demonstrating a successful history of driving strategic initiatives and achieving measurable social impact.

• Deep understanding of the education, inclusion, community development, and water sectors.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to build and sustain relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker capable of translating vision into actionable steps, managing multiple priorities, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
