Program Manager I – Emergency Response and Recovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the development and execution of emergency response and recovery initiatives.

• Ensure the establishment of efficient systems and processes that uphold high-quality programming.

• Aid in the creation of program learning and promote the sharing of effective practices and insights gained.

• Lead talent management efforts and provide coaching to staff involved in emergency response and recovery initiatives.

• Guarantee timely and appropriate project expenditures aligned with financial plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, International Relations, Community Development, or related fields such as WASH, shelter, livelihoods, or food security is required.

• At least 2 years of relevant field-based project management experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing moderately complex projects.

• Experience within an international NGO setting.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with local partner organizations.

• Proficient in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
