This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer energy efficiency initiatives with substantial backing from senior management.
• Supervise all components of energy programs while collaborating with clients and energy experts to meet energy efficiency objectives and program targets.
• Manage program budgets, foster team development and engagement, and maintain vendor and client relationships.
• Participate in talent management activities, which include interviewing, resource allocation, engagement planning, and performance assessments.
• Facilitate client communications and reporting.
• Oversee program operations to fulfill client expectations.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships with the support of senior leadership.
• Assist in managing partner and client contracts.
• Build relationships with client program teams.
• Lead and advocate for company-wide safety initiatives.
• Coordinate efforts between centralized functions and program personnel.
• Identify program challenges and seek assistance when necessary.
• Ensure the achievement of program goals in line with the Statement of Work.
• Develop and oversee program production schedules.
• Monitor and manage program budgets while achieving or surpassing energy objectives.
• Prepare monthly invoices and activity reports.
• Manage one to two independently operated utility programs.
• Report on program performance and financial indicators.
• Enhance financial understanding and program strategy competencies.
• Assist Business Development with necessary information for program re-bids, RFPs, and client expansion initiatives.
• A Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of management experience or a minimum of 1 year managing energy efficiency programs.
• Preferred background in engineering, technology, or science with experience in a technical setting.
• Experience with lighting, HVAC, and other installed technologies is preferred.
• Technical experience in developing or reviewing energy savings calculations to assess customer paybacks and incentive levels is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, clients, and team members.
• Capability to analyze and interpret data and address practical challenges.
• Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.
• PMP certification is preferred.
