This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Take ownership of client projects, encompassing P&L comprehension, contract scope, forecasting, and margin enhancement.
β’ Create and sustain strategic account plans spanning 12 to 24 months.
β’ Foster executive relationships with National Accounts and facilitate strategic planning meetings.
β’ Oversee the execution across Shermco divisions, branches, and service teams.
β’ Conduct internal coordination meetings and resolve operational conflicts between branches.
β’ Track project financial performance, manage change orders, and identify margin risks.
β’ Analyze contracts, manage scope, and lead the RFI and change management processes.
β’ Maintain program risk registers and perform monthly risk assessments.
β’ Advocate for operational standards regarding safety, estimating, project controls, and documentation.
β’ Act as the primary client liaison and lead Executive Business Reviews.
β’ Direct cross-functional teams comprising technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
β’ Initiate project kickoffs, enhance execution quality, and uphold documentation and turnover standards.
β’ Identify opportunities for service expansion and aid in strategies for capturing large capital projects.
β’ Present project performance, risks, forecasts, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
β’ Engage in post-project evaluations and lessons-learned discussions.
β’ 5 to 10 years of experience in program or project management, preferably managing a national account across various locations.
β’ Background in electrical construction, NETA testing, electrical commissioning, engineering services, industrial field services, power systems services, electrical infrastructure, or a comparable technical field.
β’ Proficiency in medium- and low-voltage electrical systems or a related technical area.
β’ Proven financial literacy with the ability to interpret project financials effectively.
β’ Experience supervising large programs or projects valued over $1 million.
β’ Established ability to coordinate operations across multiple sites or branches.
β’ Excellent executive communication skills and stakeholder management expertise.
β’ Strong financial insight, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin oversight.
β’ Experience in interpreting contracts and managing change orders.
β’ Demonstrated capability to lead large field teams and multidisciplinary resources.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ PMP certification or formal project management training is preferred.
β’ Experience in utility, industrial, data center, or mission-critical environments is preferred.
β’ Proven experience in managing enterprise-level customer relationships is preferred.
