This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop and nurture relationships with employers, industry organizations, and community partners across the state, with a primary emphasis on forging new connections.
• Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous engagement of employers to broaden the program's reach.
• Actively seek and pursue new opportunities for employer engagement through outreach, collaborations, and events.
• Organize and conduct both in-person and virtual traffic safety training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
• Lead interactive sessions that incorporate adult learning principles, translating traffic safety concepts into actionable workplace behaviors.
• Modify delivery methods and content to cater to the diverse needs of various audiences and industries.
• Manage training logistics, materials, and participant communications to ensure effective delivery.
• Take responsibility for program growth by consistently enhancing employer participation and striving towards specified outreach and training objectives.
• Plan and oversee outreach and training initiatives to align with program goals and timelines.
• Track progress toward program objectives and adapt strategies as necessary to stay aligned with targets.
• Keep precise records of employer engagement, training sessions, and program activities.
• Provide timely and accurate input regarding the program to assist in performance monitoring and required reporting.
• Function effectively within a new and evolving program landscape, adjusting strategies as partnerships and opportunities arise.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting processes.
• Create and maintain program materials, communications, and internal resources.
• Act as a liaison among employers, partners, and internal teams to ensure effective program execution.
• Assist in coordination with vendors or external partners as necessary.
• Provide support for program activities in additional states as required.
• Travel throughout Florida (and occasionally out of state) to facilitate trainings, events, and engage with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in training, outreach, community engagement, safety programs, or related areas.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• Must reside in Florida or be in close proximity for the entire duration of employment.
• Proven ability to lead presentations or facilitate discussions with varied audiences (both in-person and virtual).
• Established experience in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, such as employers, community partners, or clients.
• Demonstrated history of proactively driving outreach or engagement efforts.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to articulate and adjust messaging in real time.
• Ability to independently organize and prioritize tasks in a remote working environment with limited daily supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-up.
• Comfortable in a role requiring persistence and consistent outreach to enhance participation.
• Proficient in tracking outreach and training activities to monitor progress toward program objectives.
• Skilled in using remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Experience with government or grant-funded programs is preferred.
