Program Manager – Banking & Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of technology programs and projects within the Banking & Financial Services sector.

• Coordinate project teams to guarantee timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and overall customer satisfaction.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as a reliable delivery partner.

• Assist in account management and business development initiatives by identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with sales teams.

• Track project budgets, revenue, resource utilization, and financial performance to ensure effective program execution.

• Prepare and deliver project status reports, Management Information System (MIS) reports, risk assessments, and executive updates.

• Work alongside technical leads, architects, and delivery teams to address issues and ensure successful implementation.

• Utilize established project management methodologies to oversee scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and project governance.

• Operate within Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks, fostering effective planning, execution, and ongoing improvement.

• Participate in project estimations, planning, and solution discussions during pre-sales and project initiation phases.

• Travel to customer sites as necessary to facilitate project delivery and engage with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in managing technology programs or multiple projects within an enterprise environment.

• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices in delivery.

• Background in account management and business development, with the capacity to identify opportunities for expanding client engagements.

• Prior experience in a technical position such as Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or Solution Lead before transitioning to program management.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development environments is essential.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and client engagement.

• Experience in managing project budgets, tracking revenue, forecasting, and producing MIS reports.

• Required experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector.

• Experience with Agile project scoping is a plus.

• Readiness to travel on short notice depending on project needs.
