Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee integrated program execution across BIP pods and shared workstreams.

• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, and key milestones from the planning phase through to deployment and adoption.

• Promote Agile and Scaled Agile delivery methodologies, including planning events, cross-team collaboration, sprint reviews, and execution governance.

• Maintain transparency regarding program health, delivery progress, backlog readiness, and critical-path activities.

• Ensure that delivered solutions yield measurable business value and align with enterprise objectives.

• Establish governance structures, decision-making processes, operating rhythms, and escalation routes.

• Lead updates for executives, steering committee reviews, and communications with stakeholders.

• Align priorities, manage expectations, and foster accountability across business and technology teams.

• Coordinate dependencies with related enterprise initiatives and shared technology platforms.

• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, product, and data leadership teams to develop delivery plans and platform strategies.

• Assist in resolving complex program, integration, scalability, and operational challenges.

• Oversee resource planning, staffing readiness, capacity allocation, onboarding, and utilization.

• Support budget management, forecasting, financial tracking, and investment planning.

• Monitor vendor performance, delivery quality, methodologies, and governance compliance.

• Establish repeatable delivery processes, templates, quality standards, and governance practices.

• Ensure that readiness activities, quality gates, testing strategies, and delivery controls are effectively implemented.

• Drive continuous improvement, enhance organizational maturity, and build internal program-management capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of program/project management experience in delivering complex, cross-functional technology or data & analytics programs.

• Experience preferred in a large enterprise or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.

• Proven success in leading Agile / SAFe delivery at scale, including PI planning, scrum-of-scrums, and coordination across multiple pods.

• Formal training or certification such as PMP, SAFe, or CSM is highly desirable.

• Ability to manage blended teams consisting of internal full-time employees, offshore/onshore managed services, and external delivery partners.

• Strong financial and resource management capabilities, including budget tracking, capital versus expense management, and vendor/rate-card oversight.

• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with data platforms, business intelligence, or AI/analytics programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with product operating models and delivery metrics driven by adoption is preferred.

• Previous experience establishing program governance and hiring/resourcing trackers for new or scaling programs is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
