Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.

📋 Description

• Actively implement the transformation roadmap, ensuring accountability across all workstreams rather than merely planning it.

• Convert the program's vision and priorities into distinct, actionable strategies for Project Management cells and specialist teams.

• Oversee initiative progress at the program level, identifying workstreams that are either ahead, behind, or at risk.

• Eliminate obstacles, resolve inter-team dependencies, and escalate issues that may hinder delivery.

• Directly supervise two cells of Project Managers, offering clear guidance, prioritization assistance, and performance oversight.

• Establish and uphold the program's operational cadence, which includes status meetings, review checkpoints, and decision forums.

• Take ownership of program-level reporting to senior leadership by providing precise, timely, and actionable updates on the status and outcomes of initiatives.

• Ensure that each initiative has established defined, measurable success criteria before execution commences.

• Maintain a program-level risk register, ensuring that issues are actively addressed rather than merely recorded.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in program or project management.

• Strongly preferred experience in training operations, learning & development, or a related operational environment.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and hold individuals accountable for results.

• A robust operational mindset—motivated by execution, follow-through, and accomplishing tasks.

• Confident communicator, able to present information clearly to senior leadership and clients.

• Experience in developing or managing governance frameworks, operational cadences, and reporting systems.

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills—comfortable working with KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
