This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the framework for the submission, review, and vetting of multiple related projects in collaboration with key functional stakeholders.

• Collaborate with representatives from senior leadership to assess and ensure strategic and financial alignment.

• Lead and manage project managers and other team members within the program.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination with business sponsors, program or project owners, and project team members.

• Organize and facilitate quarterly ad-hoc sessions to present program and project updates to the Steering Committee.

• Accountable for charters, schedules, and business cases.

• Offer guidance and expertise in managing and resolving issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on processes, budgets, and other critical data.

• Identify and implement necessary process improvements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• 12+ years of experience in program or project management or equivalent experience.

• Practical experience in managing complex business and technical programs and projects.

• Experience in Organizational Change Management and Process Improvement.

• Preferred 5+ years in investments or investment operations.

• Familiarity with the reinsurance industry is preferred.

• PMP, Agile Certification, or other relevant professional designations are preferred.

• Six Sigma or process improvement training or certification is preferred.

• Certification in Organizational Change Management is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

• Advanced project and program management capabilities.

• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.

• Strong ability to comprehend and interpret business case documents.

• Advanced skills in identifying gaps in business processes.

• Exceptional people management abilities.

• Quick learner with the capacity to understand the business of RGA Reinsurance.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Highly advanced problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management.

• Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and/or teams simultaneously.

• Highly advanced capability to liaise with individuals across various operational, functional, and technical disciplines.

• Exceptional persuasion and negotiation skills.
