Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the Implementation of High-Quality Programs

• Establish and nurture strong connections with medical providers and clinic personnel

• Carry out regular in-person evaluations to gauge model adherence, pinpoint strengths and obstacles, and formulate action plans for ongoing quality enhancement

• Assist new clinics through the application and onboarding phases

• Collaborate with clinic teams to boost parent/caregiver involvement and ensure the sustainable integration of the program

• Foster advocates within clinics and health systems to support long-term program success

• Partnership Development and Sustainability

• Contribute to local and statewide initiatives aimed at integrating Reach Out and Read within early learning and family support networks

• Identify and establish relationships with community partners

• Program Data and Reporting

• Guarantee timely and precise completion of biannual site progress reports

• Keep accurate records in organizational databases

• Book Support and Funding

• Assist locations with book selection, ordering, and tracking procedures

• Provide support to clinics on fundraising and pinpoint programs that require assistance

⛳️ Requirements

• Dedication to enhancing equity in opportunities and outcomes for children

• 2–5 years of professional experience in social work, healthcare, early education, literacy, parenting support, or a related field preferred

• Proven experience in supporting program implementation, continuous quality improvement, or professional development within healthcare, education, or family-serving systems

• Proficient in electronic communication and productivity tools, including databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Availability to work standard business hours, along with some early morning, evening, or weekend hours; occasional overnight travel may be necessary

• Enthusiasm for improving literacy outcomes and aiding children's success
